Okay, full disclaimer - this might be the unhealthiest recipe I have EVER created. BUT it's Easter, and if you can't have chocolate at Easter time, then when can you?
A creme egg, encased in a biscuit, chocolate and cheesecakey filling, rolled in chocolate sugar strands - these "scotch eggs" are HUGE - they're designed to be cut into four and shared (but there is no judging if you go back for seconds... or thirds). They're a showstopper - sure to impress any guests, or recipients!
These can be messy to make, so when covering them in chocolate strands, pour your strands onto a bowl and roll the "egg" in them - this means minimal mess to you, and minimal melting of the sugar strands too!
Freeze your Creme Eggs before making these - it will be easier to handle them, and shape the mixture around them and will help them set quicker too!
